ES256 Entschäumer
ES256 is a highly effective defoamer for circulating coolant circuits in metal working. Foam usually develops due to strong mechanical swirling when the liquid medium is heavily stressed by high-pressure pumps or when centrifuges are used to recover chips or the fine filtration of abrasive particles.
In principle, our SGF® and SMF® products are designed and developed in such a way that, when used correctly, no "defoamer" is usually needed! Even with high pressure applications up to 200 bar or microfiltration, our fluids are foam-free. However, the internal defoaming mechanism of the fluids can be adversely affected by drag-out and insufficient re-dosing.
ES256 is silicone-free, free of anionic surfactants, and does not adversely affect subsequent processes such as electroplating, varnishing or other surface treatments.
